Elizabeth Leigh celebrated two monhs last Friday! Her two-month doctor’s appointment went well (although she didn’t appreciate the shots) – and she measured in at almost 11 pounds and 22 inches long.  She’s growing so fast and is meeting all the two-month milestones.

El loves gazing at faces and is really starting to take in her surroundings.  She likes to be held facing out so she can see everything.  Elizabeth wakes up in the morning with plenty of smiles – it’s a special time for us as we soak in our little girl’s adoration.  She’s cooing a lot more now too, and we even have “conversations” each day where she fills us in on how she’s doing.

Elizabeth loves tummy time and her head control is getting much better!  It’s so much fun to see her energetically kicking her legs and waving her arms on her playmat.  She is also starting to discover her hands and I’ve caught her just staring at them a few times – they are pretty amazing to a young baby!
