Mother’s Day newbie

I was so excited to celebrate my first Mother’s Day last Sunday!  We were lucky to have my mom and mother-in-law here to celebrate with us.  The whole gang enjoyed a delicious southern-style brunch at Wimauma (I had shrimp and grits – yum!)  I received so many nice cards and messages from friends and family too.  What a wonderful club to be a part of!  Thank you all for your kind words.

I really did appreciate my mom before having Elizabeth, but now I TRULY appreciate her!  I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful role model of how to be a loving and nurturing mother to my daughter.  Thank you Mom for all you did and continue to do to support me in life!
