I’ll be posting more pictures from our New England trip in the next edition of “Friends & Family,” but wanted to share this picture of Elizabeth with JR, Grami and her great-grandmother – four generations!

Here’s another shot of Ann and El – I think Elizabeth could sense that it was a special moment.  She seemed to relax and become more calm as she stared sweetly into her great-grandmother’s eyes.

This moment definitely brought tears to my eyes as I thought about my Mimi, who passed away in December.  She loved little ones and would’ve cherished time like this with her great-granddaughter.  Her spirit lives on though!  I can feel her smiling down at us from heaven, humming her favorite lullaby, “Bayou Baby.”  I miss you, Mimi!
