Don’t let this smile fool you…Lizzie started daycare three weeks ago and she’s still not very happy about it!  Day one she was all smiles until she saw Momma was walking out the door.  It was a pretty rough morning, but her teacher, Ms. Jasmine, said the afternoon was much better.

Little by little, she’s been adjusting.  Last week I even dropped her off without tears (from her and me).  She wasn’t really smiling when I left, but I peeked in the window from outside and the little stinker was already happily playing!  I think she knows how to play her Momma – ha!

I’m hoping in a few more weeks that she’ll be smiling and excited to see her teacher and new friends.  We’ll see….  Either way, I know it’s a great thing for her to be with other kiddos her same age and socialize.  Just another sign that our little baby is growing up – it’s officially toddler time! 🙂
