We’ve arrived at month 10 and Charlotte gives the past month a round of applause!  That’s right, Char is officially clapping now.  She especially loves to clap while she’s eating – she’ll take a moment to clap after each bite of food as if to congratulate herself on being such a good eater.

And a good eater, she is!  This girl eats pretty much whatever we do.  She loves avocado, broccoli, rice and beans, tomatoes, blueberries, cheese, strawberries, bananas, chicken, ground turkey, peanut butter, oatmeal, yogurt, cottage cheese, watermelon…the list goes on and on.  She’s even influencing her big sis to be a bit more adventurous with food.  I’d say that’s a win-win for all of us!

Charlotte continues to crawl up a storm and has added some cruising and free standing to her repertoire.  I have a sneaking suspicion that this girl will take her first steps before her first birthday, but we’ll see.  She’s definitely all about moving around and checking things out (luckily that hasn’t translated to trying to climb up the stairs yet!)

For those keeping track, Char’s tooth count is up to four.  Her second top tooth is officially in, and it looks like the other incisors will be cutting through the gum soon.

Less than two months till our little girl’s first birthday – I can’t believe it!  I’m looking forward to making fun family memories as we near that milestone.  Toddlerhood is on the horizon and I want to soak up as many of these last, precious moments of infancy as I can.
