I wanted to share pictures from Lil Farmer Char’s first birthday festivities. A while ago I sent a video to my family dancing around and singing to Charlotte, who was dressed in overalls. My song dubbed her “Lil Farmer Char” and the nickname stuck. So what better way to celebrate our little farmer than with a barnyard bash! With the help of our family, it all came together perfectly.
The official invite to Charlotte’s 1st bday partyEvery good farmer needs to have a bandana!Pops did it again – creating the perfect backdrop for our shindig!I created a banner highlighting some of my favorite moments from each month of the past year.I got everything right here except her height – Charlotte is actually 31 inches (which makes her 4 lbs heavier and 2 inches taller than her sis at 1 year.)Aren’t these the cutest cupcakes ever?
My parents, sissy, and Ryan made and decorated these delicious sweet treats. The birthday girl makes her debut in her tutu overalls!
Sonny’s BBQ was the perfect meal for these hungry famers! We enjoyed pulled chicken, cornbread, mac ‘n cheese, baked beans, lemonade and tea.
We ordered a new Gator cornhole set for the party – and I’m sure we’ll get good use out of it during football season. The barnyard bounce house was the hit of the party – keeping the kiddos happy and busy!
Bday cake time! After a little prodding from her sister and friends, Farmer Char got into the whole “cake smash” idea.
Great group shot of the fam at the end of the night!
Thanks to all who joined us for the festivities! It was so wonderful to celebrate with our loved ones.
I also want to thank our amazing family for all their support over the past year. Gigi, Pops, Grami, Papi, Aunt Kerry, Uncle Ryan, Aunt Erin, and Uncle Scott – Charlotte is beyond blessed to have you in her life. It’s been an incredible year – and we’re so excited to make more memories together as a family. Love you all! XOXO
