My Fair Verona

Verona was initially planned as a halfway point for our next “real” stop in Italy – the Dolomites – but it was so much more. We spent two nights in this beautiful city and enjoyed the history and architecture. Highlights include a brief visit to see Juliet’s balcony, walking around the two main piazzas – Piazza Erbe and Piazza Bra, and a gelato making class.

The gelato class was very interactive and we learned a lot about our favorite treat. We made four types: fleur de latte, yogurt, dark chocolate, and melon. Yum!

Next, on to Ortisei in the Dolomites… 🏔️

    1. For sure! It’s actually really simple to make and we can use my mom’s ice cream maker. July 4th gelato party??
