If you don’t know it yet, I’ve been notorious for not posting my last blog of our summer trips … I get back home and back to real life and just forget… I did it last year with Canada and the year before with Italy (Bologna).
Well better late than never, right? Ha!
While I’m working on my next Portugal post, please enjoy the pictorial highlights from the final leg of last summer’s Canadian adventure – Lake Louise!

Our last visit to Lake Louise was when I was 16 and it stood out to me as one of the most beautiful places I’d ever seen.
I’m happy to report that Lake Louise still hits! The scenery is magical, despite the crowds…yes, it was very much overrun with other people trying to soak in the beauty. Well, I can’t really blame them!

The best way to escape the crowds – hike! We relived our family trip from the 90s with a repeat hike to Lake Agnes tea house. This time it was a ladies hike as the guys weren’t feeling so well.

It was a picture perfect day, as you can see!

The in and out trail culminates at Lake Agnes tea house, high up in the mountains. We enjoyed a light lunch with homemade breads, tea and a few sweets before making the trek back down. Another wonderful memory made!
We also had high tea at the hotel at Lake Louise the day before, which was a fancy experience and quite nice as well.
