Here’s an update on my pregnancy questionnaire I did at 7 months – enjoy!
How far along are you? 9+ months (37 weeks)
How big is baby?  According to my weekly pregnancy emails, baby is around 19 inches long and 6+ pounds (and let me tell ya, it definitely feels like it!)  I’m having an ultrasound this Thursday to confirm her position and will have more details on size then.  Can’t wait to see her!
Total weight gain/loss:  30 pounds – yes, I’ve reached my weight gain milestone!
Maternity clothes?  Yes, please!  In fact, my Sis took pity on me and presented me with a few more maternity tops for Christmas when she saw I was still trying to manage with some bigger workout shirts and my belly peeked out at the bottom.  I tried as long as I could!
Sleep:Â Â Trying to soak up every minute of uninterrupted sleep…that is, between all the pee breaks and constant shifting to get comfortable. Â Still, I know this will be nothing compared to having a newborn in our bedroom every night. Â Oh yes, and still trying to fit in naps as often as possible.
Best moment this week: Â Having my parents over to celebrate my Mom’s birthday (and we even snuck in some work on the nursery.) Â It was great to be together and have time to relax. Â My mom and I visited the spa and I received my second prenatal massage…heaven!
Movement:Â I think my baby echoes my shifting at night to get comfortable – except she does it all day long! Â The movements feel so different than they did even a month ago. Â I can tell she’s a lot bigger and it’s getting much more cramped in there for her. Â I feel her turning and stretching, and frequently hiccuping!
Food cravings:  Anything sweet!  The first trimester I was all about the salty and spicy foods, and now I could kill for some ice cream and cake at night.  Trying to be careful with my sugar though and just treat myself with a small indulgence each day.  Besides, baby WANTS it too! 🙂
Food Aversions: Â I’m feeling better about seafood these days, so there’s not much I won’t eat now.
Labor Signs:Â Increasing Braxton Hicks contractions (especially at night), but they are painless. Â Nothing else, but I’ve started going to the OB every week so they can keep tabs on my progress. Â It won’t be long now!
Pregnancy Symptoms:Â A little back and hip pain at night – but nothing a back rub from my hubby can’t fix! Â No indigestion or acid reflux, so I consider myself quite lucky.
Belly Button in or out? Â Completely flat now.
What I miss: Â Can’t wait to have some REAL sushi!
What I am looking forward to: Â My ultrasound and OB visit on Thursday – so I can learn more about the size of my little girl.
Upcoming appointments/events: Â Thursday, and every week thereafter, until she makes her appearance!
Weekly Wisdom: Â Nothing feels better right now than getting things organized and clean – for baby girl and for me!
Milestones: Â Baby S is full term this week!
