A nursery for Baby S

We’re making headway on the nursery and I can finally share a few pictures of our progress.  We decided to go with the larger of the guest rooms so we could keep both beds, and have sleeping accomodations for all the visitors expected after Baby Girl S arrives.  And, it just so happens that this guest room is already a nice soft green color, so no wall painting required (perfect for our purple and green color scheme.)  Check it out…

Crib and glider
Crib and glider – I’m loving the purple and green bedding that mixes polk-a-dots and stripes. Big thanks to my parents for helping us with the crib – and my dad for setting it up!
Look familiar? We "recycled" these baby shower decorations and they add a nice pop of color to the room.

Mobile from my sis – so cool! The different colors and contrast is supposed to be enthralling to babies.
Glider complete with purple zebra - so comfortable and perfect for cuddling and feedings. Thanks to Carol and Rick for this generous gift!

Dragonfly curtains match the bedding and tie the room together.

Found this purple and white rug at Target - it adds a splash of color and makes the room a little more cozy.

We painted this dresser white and it's the perfect size for our changing table/station. We'll add a shelf above to hold all the changing supplies for Baby S.

Also painted this bookecase white too. It was actually made by mom grandfather - my mom's dad who passed away when she was only 5. How special to have a piece like this with such family history in our baby girl's room. And, it's the perfect size to hold all her books from the baby shower.

Closet door organizer - saw this idea online to use a shoe holder and it's working perfectly to hold all of baby's products!
