Hi ya’ll!
Elizabeth is four-months-old and life is pretty exciting! Not only did she figure out how to roll from tummy to back in the last few weeks, but she’s also experimenting with rolling from her back to tummy. Soon our little girl will be on the move!
Her head control is really good now and she’s loving sitting up (assisted of course) whenever she can. Things are also getting a bit more ‘drooly’ around here too…some folks have even wondered if El could be teething soon. No sign of teeth yet, but the early signs are there so we’re keeping an eye out.
We visited the pediatrician last Friday and Elizabeth is weighing in at 13 pounds 10 ounces and she’s 24.5 inches long. I thought she was feeling heavier! 🙂 She continues to be a little above the 50th percentile, so her growth is right on track.
We’re also starting to get a little more sleep around here – finally! El’s started to sleep through the night on a more consistent basis (although we still do have the occasional night with a few wake-ups), and that means Mommy and Daddy get more sleep too. I actually slept 6.5 hours straight last night and feel like a new woman! 🙂
We’re looking forward to celebrating Father’s Day this weekend. It will be a special first Father’s Day for JR! I’ll be sure to post a few pics of father and daughter from the day’s celebration.
Until then…hope you’re all having a great week!
