This smiling girl is happy to be 7 months old! And how did we celebrate? With a photo shoot, of course!

Aunt Erin and Uncle Scott are visiting us for the week and they joined us for Elizabeth’s “sitting up” photo session yesterday – which was both adorable and hilarious! Baxter didn’t want to miss out either so he was there for the shoot too. Let me tell you, getting a dog and a baby to pose at the same time is almost impossible (much like herding cats I’m told…) I’m betting the outtakes will be priceless.

The big news this month….El is finally napping in her crib. That may not sound all that exciting, but if you are a new parent then you understand that this is quite the accomplishment. Especially if your little was a big fan of the swing like mine. El loved her swing so much that I had visions of us moving her to her college dorm, swing in tow. Thankfully I can breathe a sigh of relief on that one.

Elizabeth is also close to being a crawler. She gets up on her hands and knees and does the pre-crawl rock.  So exciting to think our girl will be mobile soon. Better get busy on the baby proofing!
