I know after looking at this sweet face that you’d never believe me….but Lizzie is building up a reputation at school for biting. 

I know, I know….not this little angel!  But, after the second incident at school we had to set aside our disbelief.  And, if you’re wondering whether her biting predilections extend only to other toddlers…let me inform you that Lizzie is an equal opportunity biter.  She often tries to nibble on JR and me at home.

Luckily, her teacher, Ms. Jasmine, has stymied her efforts in most cases…so I guess Lizzie  has officially only made ‘biting attempts’ at daycare.  And, really, do we know for sure she was going in for a bite?  Now that I think of it, she could’ve just been going in for a kiss – teeth bared – right? 🙂

It’s a hard case to prove, and as you can imagine, it’s not quite a badge of honor among other parents of toddlers.  We’re hoping this stage pases quickly.  And then we can look forward to whatever fun (read: embarassing) behavior comes next.  Tantrums, anyone?
