Hope you all had a wonderful Halloween. Lizzie spread good luck all around town as our little ladybug.
She started the day at her school where they had a costume parade. It was both adorable and hilarious to see the organized chaos ensue. Each group of toddlers marched into the older kids’ classrooms to show off their costumes and also to get a piece of candy. It was definitely good practice for ‘trick or treating’ later that night. 🙂

Halloween night we spent time with our family friends, Ted and Lori. Lori continued on my Mimi’s Halloween tradition of homemade chili and hot dogs. It was a perfect night to sit outside, visit, and check out all the cute costumes.
Lizzie figured out the “trick or treating” part fast and had no qualms about going up to folks for candy. Since she couldn’t say “trick or treat,” I told her to say ‘please’ to each person…so with a big smile our ladybug would ask for candy by saying “Peeeeeeeeaas!” Too cute!

We ended the night with our friends Melissa, James and their adorable baby boy, Jack. Jack came dressed as Woody from Toy Story – so precious! Lizzie loved seeing baby Jack and teaching him the ropes of Halloween – by then she was a pro!
