Enjoy this post from January that I forgot to post (can you say “pregnancy brain?”)
——————————————————————–
As many of you know, we’ve made the decision to move to Orlando and sell our home in Tampa. Well, today we had our first open house – so we took advantage of the time we had to be out of the house and visited Old McMickey’s farm. It’s an educational farm for kids and families north of Tampa.
Lizzie loved every minute, especially the pony ride. She always surprises me with how brave she is doing something she’s never done before. She got right on that pony like she’s been riding horses all her life – too cute!

The goats were very friendly and Lizzie chased them around the pen trying to touch their fluffy coats.
She loved petting the pig, but declared that his snout “is gross” because it was wet. Who knows where she got that!
Lizzie also got to milk a cow. She thought that was the coolest. And, we found out the cow is pregnant and due in April like Mommy. 🙂
All in all, it was a great outing – and a fun way to spend another day with Grami and Poppy while they visited us this winter!
