Ahoy mateys!

It was a cold and brisk Saturday afternoon when we set sail for the Gasparilla Children’s parade this past weekend.  This was our second year checking out the extravaganza.  Lizzie was excited to meet up with her bestie from school, Mason.  The two of them engaged in some pirate hijinks while waiting for the parade to begin.

Lizzie was proud to show off her cool pirate Ybor City shirt at the parade – so proud that she didn’t even notice when Captain Hook (ahem…Mason) snagged her by the arm!

Do you notice anything missing in the picture below?  Where are all of Lizzie’s beads?

Well, who says that 2-year-olds don’t know how to share!  After scoring each bead during the parade, Lizzie would give them to Mason (and a few to Daddy too).

All in all, it was a great day…and noone was asked to walk the plank!  Glad we could participate in this Tampa tradition again.
