Charlotte Anne makes her debut!

Yesterday, at 2:27 am, Charlotte Anne burst onto the scene and said hello world! She’s beautiful, and is a healthy 7 lbs 13.5 ounces, and is 20.5 inches long.

About 4 hours after birth, while she was being checked out in the nursery, the nurses noticed she was having a “dusky” episode where her blood oxygenation level dipped lower than they’d like. It happened a few more times during the morning and we were told she needed to be moved to the NICU.

Deja vu, right?  This is so similar to what happened to Lizzie right after birth. I was hoping not to have a baby in the NICU ever again, but I know it’s important for them to check her out thoroughly and get to the bottom of this issue. Right now, they continue to run tests and we hope to know more today.

Please keep us in your prayers and send Charlotte loving, healing thoughts. We appreciate your love and support! Xoxo

  1. So good to see the pictures and get the report. Your mom had told me about the transfer yesterday, so we included Charlotte and her family in our prayer time at choir rehearsal last night. Please keep us posted and keep the faith. Peace, blessings, and much love!

  2. Congratulations! She is so beautiful. So happy that Lizzie has sister. Very special!
