Happy 4th Birthday, Lizzie!

Four years ago today, the most perfect little baby made her debut into our lives at 10:40 pm – two weeks early and in a hurry!

Today, Elizabeth Leigh is a spirited, loving, beautiful and strong girl – a kid who keeps us on our toes and definitely makes each day more exciting. Plus, she can rock a princess dress and Converses like nobody’s business. 😉

We celebrated today with a party at her school, complete with Frozen cupcakes, and a family celebration at home. Lizzie requested broccoli and meatballs for her birthday dinner, and we added pasta, salad and bread to round out the meal. Never mind that when it came time to eat, she hardly touched her plate! (I think the excitement of the day offset her appetite.)

After dinner, she opened gifts from Grami and Papi, Gigi and Pops, Aunt Kerry, and us. We finished the festivities by singing happy birthday as she blew out candles on her cupcake. She was beaming ear to ear!

We can’t wait to party some more when Aunt Erin, Uncle Scott and Samantha get in on Friday!

Happy Birthday to my girl! 💕
