For the five days we visited Jasper National Park, our home base was the Miette Hot Springs Bungalows. They offer rustic yet cozy cabins deep in Jasper, as well as motel-style rooms. We got one of each for our party of 7!

We loved the cabin, but it was a little tight on space with five of us – especially because the bedrooms weren’t really separate – just a sliding curtain to mark the space. After a few nights, my mom got her own room so we could have more space.
As I noted, the location of the bungalows was a bit remote – about a 45 mins drive into the town of Jasper. No cell reception and very weak WiFi. However, it was actually nice to be unreachable for a few days. Plus, the onsite Greek restaurant was delicious and we were a stone’s throw from Miette Hot Springs.

And, did I mention the bears?? 🐻 More to come on that in a future post!
